While at Teacher Training, there is not a lot of free time - however, many students enjoy the surroundings on the weekends and before or after the training session. The hotel is located about 20-30 minutes from downtown Acapulco by taxi.

Acapulco Tourist Activities

Very popular are the Cliff Divers, which have shows daily. Located about 30 minutes from the hotel by taxi, this is very famous attraction. In addition, there is a range of beautiful beaches in the area, as well as tourist activities such as swimming with dolphins and glass-bottomed boat rides.

Restaurants

The hotel concierge recommends a variety of restaurants to hotel guests. One chain that is very popular among trainees is 100% Natural , a US$5 cab ride away, it features affordable, fresh food prepared in a healthy way. Only serving chicken and fish, it also features a very large vegetarian selection, as well as a complete juice bar. On the road to downtown, there are several ethnic cuisine restaurants (Thai, Japanese, Australian) which feature stunning views. Downtown holds a myriad of restaurants from local small establishments to American chain restaurants to fine dining.

The Immediate Area Surrounding the Hotel

Immediately surrounding the hotel you'll find an array of stores and eateries including Wal-Mart, the local large grocery store Mega, even a Starbucks and McDonald's! There is also a Sam's Club and Costco in the area outside the hotel. There are also clothing stores and restaurants nearby as well.
